Family Trees

If you want to find a way to tie your character to some from Harry Potter, this may be a good place to start.







*Nothing is said about Isla Black and Bob Hitchens' children. So relations to them can be made up from that point on.

*Phineas Black was second eldest son of Phineas Nigellus Black and Ursula Flint. He was disowned for supporting Muggle rights and removed from the Black Family tree. Based on a statement by Horace Slughorn, Phineas may have been a member of the Slytherin House. Whether he married and had children is unknown. Probably born in the 1880s.

*Marius Black was a Squib, but that doesn't mean that any children that he may have had were magical. Whether he married or had children is unknown.

*It is never said what happened to Alphard after he gave Sirius a large sum of money. He could have married and had children.

*As for any children that were had and are listed, we don't know what happened after that. So, if you are going to make your character related in some way, make it interesting and make sure it can fit some how. Remember that surnames can get lost along the way.
